The pointed pen is often associated only with copperplate, but there is so much more that can be done with this tool. In this workshop we will explore those possibilities.
We will practice some different scripts, including those which traditionally would be written with a broad-edged pen. The pointed nib gives us freedom to control the weighted parts of letters and provides exciting possibilities for all sorts of different lettering styles. We will then explore how to use these letters in words and finished designs. This workshop will be recorded and available to registered participants for six weeks.
