Lettering for Holiday Projects - Tamer Ghoneim - Textura Ring of Letters

Tamer teaches how to use a variety of inks with a Parallel pen in a circle with the Textura hand.

• P2050. Watercolor paper – Grumbacher 140# cold press (9” x 12” pad) used in demonstration
• S271. 18” plastic ruler
• PL21. Automatic pencil for drawing circles with a Helix Circle ruler
• S1085. Helix Circle ruler or a compass with a sharpened HB pencil lead - to draw circles
• FP67. 3.8mm Pentel Parallel Pen (green lid) – with green cartridge; nib is dipped into shimmery inks for a blending of the shimmer colors and the green ink
• I13, I14. FW acrylic inks (by Daler Rowney)) in Pearlescent or Shimmering colors – demonstration writing was executed by dipping into the Shimmering Green and Red inks
• Giottos Rocket Air Blaster
• S853. Small containers with lids to decant shimmer ink into
• BR43. Brush for mixing and painting color bands
• S1005. Water containers – clean water to thin down paint; another container to clean nib/brushes
• S1132. Paper towels/tissues to wipe off pen and brushes
