S853. Jumbo Dinky Dip.

Includes both Dinky Dip base and plastic jar(s).
- Similar to our Screw-Top Small Dinky Dip (S934), but with larger screw-top jars (1/2 oz) and a larger unfinished wooden base.
- Use these small inkwells for dip pens for calligraphy (Spencerian Script, Copperplate, Modern Calligraphy, Italic, Foundational, etc.).
- Their small size allows you to see how far you are dipping so you get the right amount of ink on your nib.
- Lid screws tight to avoid evaporation.
- Wide base provides stability and helps prevent spills.
- Use jars for different inks or as ready back-ups for your standard ink.

Choose your base shape:
1-Square (1 jar) 2.75"x2.75"
4-Square (4 jars): 3.5"x3.5"
4-Rectangle (4 jars): 1.5"x6.5"

Please note: As of May 2022 the wood block will have wider holes to accommodate the jumbo dinky dip jar manufacturer's slightly wider new jar design.

The bases are made so that the jars fit tightly in their holes, but also made so you can remove the jars. To remove a jar, you might need to wiggle the jar back and forth while pulling. It can take some effort. Of course, you will want to make sure the lid is screwed on well before starting to remove the jar. When replacing a jar -- if you want it to be removable again -- push it into the hole just enough for it to be secure, but not as deep as it will go.
