Love the Pilot Parallel Pen
I love using the Pilot Parallel Pens. They're perfect for practicing a lot of different hands. I have several of each size.

Pilot Parallel Pen
A calligraphy instructor recommended this pen and seller. It is excellent for learning and practice. It is inexpensive, easy to use and the cartridges are neat and come in several colors. It is not quite as fine as a professional artist's pen but is very good for basic use. I got the 3.0 and 2.4 sizes, which are good for wide and medium-wide strokes with narrow lines when turned on the edge (it comes with brief instructions on how to angle the pen).

Pilot parallel pen
Great so far, didn’t have the 3.0 or 3.8 so I had to get them from another source.

great product
It would be very helpful if we could get empty cartridges to fill with our own choice of ink.

Pilot Pen
Just purchased the 1.5mm nib Pilot Pen and enjoy lettering with it. This nib size expands my range for dashing off a quick lettered postcard or for slower, more serious work. I've started using the Pilot Pens more frequently as they are inked and ready to go, which takes away the barrier of preparing a workspace with all the cleaning supplies. I'm actually doodling more and playing with shapes as I can just pick it up and put it down (with the cap on!) Thanks, John Neal!

Pilot Parallel pens, portable broad edge pens!
I loved learning French Roundhand and how to use a broad edged pen for calligraphy. I bought the Pilot Parallel Pen 3.8 to be able to do calligraphy outside my home and just really enjoy the pens! I use the pens for French Roundhand, Uncial and am now learning Fraktur with the pens. They are different than dip pens, so they take a little getting used to but & really enjoy being able to take them with me to write!
