Pat Blair - Bounce X Three - Nov 7 & 14

I love the freedom of modern script, and coupled with adding some form and a variety of other details, we can create alphabets that are just as spontaneous and offer other personalities to this fun lettering style. In this class, we are going to do 3 different variations of a casual, 'modern' like script. One bouncy and bold, one light and airy, and one intense and attention-getting. We will have basic forms to guide us, but will change up characteristics such as slant, weight, even changing up the letters themselves to find new looks. All will be done with a pointed pen and will be perfect for projects that need a little more 'casual' feel. Alphabet exemplars and guide sheets will be offered for each of these styles. So we can wade in slowly, this class will be offered in 2 parts, to give students time to acquaint themselves with the pen movement.
