Description

Enjoy the delicate painting technique for “flying flowers” enhanced with gold leaf to illuminate the winter season. Our inspiration is drawn from Medieval Manuscripts, but we will modernize their techniques with an intriguing colour palette. You will learn how to control gossamer thin layers of diluted watercolour paint to create these gorgeous, gilded butterfly designs. This class is designed to enhance your confidence with watercolour and gold leaf as we wait for the approaching Spring. Unleash the magic of Gossamer and Gold while creating these beautiful ornamental pieces. Drawing your own design will be encouraged, but templates will be included for beginners to this technique. All skill levels are welcome.
