Univers Lettercarving Chisel Set

I am new to letter cutting in slate and this brand was recommended to me by teachers. The carbide tips are slender, which allows for detail I wasn't able to get before. These feel superb in the hand. Thanks to John Neal Books for making this set available.

I work for a company of Europe- born and trained artist. The group includes sculptors, carvers, engravers and mosaicists from Italy. The proper tools to do this work are expensive and difficult to get. When my chisels arrived, everyone was shocked that I was able to get my hands on them. This product is the BEST for delicate stonework and is IMPOSSIBLE to find in the states.

These are by far the best letting chisels available in the USA. I own a half dozen different types and these blow all of them away. The thin tip style allows for much more accurate lettering and facilitate greater cutting angles with the wider chisels. You will not be disappointed!
