S1711. Round Ink Grinding Stone with Lid.
Grind ink then prevent it from spilling with this beautiful lidded ink stone! This natural ink stone is a traditional and practice tool used to grind sumi ink sticks into liquid ink. Put a small amount of water into the well, then rub your ink stick in slow circles into the water until an ink of your desired consistency is reached. Works beautifully with brushes. Clean surface thoroughly after each use for best results.
Measures approximately 4" in diameter and 1/2" deep.
