Description

FP132. Radius-cut Parallel Pen (Pilot does not make this pen.)

This pen begins life as a Pilot Parallel Pen. Once our penmaker has worked his magic, the pen is cut to a radius (curved) shape. This allows the pressure on the stroke to affect the ink flow. Great for experimenting and gestural work. The pen works better on paper with a bit of tooth. (Pilot does not warrant this modified pen, but we do!)

Very interesting nib and a great addition to my collection. The pen was wrapped securely and was delivered (out of country) quickly. I recommend this nib and will purchase from this company again.

The pens/nibs work great and I love the effect. It's a really neat and fun way to use the nibs. Most people will prefer the regular Parallels but once you've gotten comfortable , playing w/ these nibs are a lot of fun.

    6mm curved nib parallel pen

Posted by barbara martinetti on May 3rd 2018

Thrilled!!!!! Always wanted to do LARGE Copperplate, and this pen does it!!! Cannot put the pen down!!! The ink flows continuously, no dips into inkwells. By slight manipulation of pen, can get beautiful hairlines! So much fun!! Do not need any of the smaller curved nib sizes. The 6mm does it all. Hope to see Youtube demos by copperplate calligraphers as the word spreads about this superb pen. Thank you, John Neal!!!
