Pat Blair - Sunflowers and Dahlias - Sept 12 - 13, 2024

The colors of late summer are captured so well in sunflowers and the jewel tones of dahlias. We will begin with a study of pigments and how to blend colors freshly on the page, followed by instruction on how to use watercolor brushes to achieve graceful leaf and petal shapes in a fresh, spontaneous way. We will use the wedge brush to paint bold sunflowers and leaves, and then move to the versatile round brush for dahlia petals.
