Nikko G Nib

I have been learning copperplate calligraphy for approximately 8 months and this is my favorite nib to write with Thank you for providing such good products, at a good price, and delivery was so fast!! I will order again , thank you john Neal books!!

This nib is a true work horse for me. I mainly use it for Engrosser's Script, but any pointed pen work it performs great. From flourishing to script. Keep a nice point for a long time, and performance is outstanding.

This nib has been widely recommended by many calligraphers and it has lived up to the promise! It does allow for slender hairline strokes and the level of flexibility is perfect! I am so glad I tried this product.

This nib is exceptionally smooth writing, and I don't have any problems with snagging on the upstrokes. It holds a lot of ink and the tip is very durable and remains in good shape longer than most other nibs--much longer than some. If you are new to modern calligraphy, the Nikko G is a great nib for beginners.

The Nikko G is a very reliable nib. It is more durable than the more flexible nibs like the Gillott 303 or Leonard Principal nibs. I like the consistent results I get from it. It always behaves the same until it eventually wears out, like all pointed nibs, and I replace it with a new one.

Nikko G, Zebra G, and Tachikawa G are all fairly stiff nibs and are excellent for beginners, who often have a heavy hand. These G nibs hold up to pressure and have a smooth, non-catching upstroke. Those new to pointed-pen scripts can focus on letterforms. Extra fine hairlines and thick downstrokes can come later.
