N04-S10A. Set of 10 Mitchell (Rexel Round Hand) Nibs with 2 reservoirs.


The set includes sizes: 0 (3.3mm), 1 ( 3mm), 1-1/2 (2.5mm), 2(2.3mm), 2-1/2 (1.8mm), 3 (1.4mm), 3-1/2 (1mm), 4 (0.9mm), 5 (.75mm), 6 (.6mm).

Flexible calligraphy nibs from England. Straight cut. Though they are called Round Hand, these chisel edge nibs are good for many alphabets, including Italic, Carolingian, Uncials, Gothic (Blackletter/Old English), Foundational Hand, and Roman Caps. Widely used by professional calligraphers with and without the reservoirs. Some beginners may have trouble with the flexibility. One of our most popular dip pen nibs for calligraphy.     I decided to graduate from the Speedball nibs to the Mitchell. I find them much easier to ink up and write with. I am using the 5 and 4 especially for really small italics and love how they perform.

    These are excellent nibs. I do my own Christmas cards (about 30 of them now), and the assorted things the I do just because I like to do them (Illuminated manuscripts, for instance). I've found these nibs to be the best of all I've tried (there's been a bunch) and I especially like the two reservoirs the come with the set as they extend the amount of ink you can use at any one time. They are a great buy.
