This flange-adjusting tool by Michael Sull is the answer to all your nib-fitting woes! This specially designed tool makes it easy to reshape a bent or misaligned flange or refit a flange for a fresh nib. Great for the following circumstances:

• New Penholder Troubles: Just got a new penholder with flange leaves pressed too closely? This tool makes nib insertion a breeze.
• Well-Used Penholder Issues: If the gap between the flange leaves has widened over time, causing nibs to shift or fall out, this tool is your fix.
• DIY Mishaps: Oh no! You’ve bent your flange into an inoperable shape while attempting to make it fit a particular nib, often because you didn’t have a designated tool for that purpose.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This tool is specifically designed for use with wood-handled oblique penholders with Dedicated-Flange Designs. That means the flange emulates the shape of a nib to create a nib "sandwich" when the nib is inserted correctly. Please steer clear of using it with adjustable-screw holders or plastic-handle holders.
