Everyone should keep and use (frequently!) a sketchbook. In this class, we’ll start with a few sketching exercises using medieval decorated letters as the subject matter, then move on to drawing and painting our own Versal and Lombardic capital letters. They can be added to a calligraphic piece to add interest, color, and emphasis.
