Angled edge way more difficult to use than I thought

I'm right handed, so if I'm trying to write holding the nib at a 45 degree angle, the part of the nib that needs the LONGEST reach is, in fact, the shortest part of the nib. I have to hold the pen nearly sideways to get the entire surface of the nib to connect with the paper.

    Hiro Nibs

I love using the Hiro nibs as I do a lot of pressure release with my italic variation so having the flexibility helps prevent tearing of the paper. I usually use them in the small sizes for tinier writing...and like Speedball 0,1 and 2 for larger lettering.

    fountain pen ink nibs

Posted by notbob on May 20th 2013

Finally! A dip pen nib that works with fountain pen inks and no nib prep required. No cleaning or burning necessary and reservoirs that actually work. One or even two full lines with one ink load. If only they came straight cut instead of right oblique. Highly recommended.
