Gold Gouache Sampler

I found this to be an excellent way to sample the various gold gouaches without breaking the bank. Like the previous reviewer, I liked Talens deep gold the best and will be adding that one to my collection.

This was a fabulous way of saving dollars and getting to experiment with different brands of gold. As most calligraphers will tell you, you can't have enough gold colors. I was pretty surprised at what I liked and what I didn't. Of all the colors in this set, Talens Deep Gold was the clear winner with the Holbein Brilliant Gold coming in second. Not crazy about the remaining colors. It was fun and I saved a ton of money by not having to buy the full sizes of each only to find out what I liked and didn't like.
