Cheryl Tefft - Introduction to Calligraphy & Illumination - May 16

If you are: -- relatively new to the study of calligraphy, or -- interested in calligraphy but not sure whether you are up for taking multi-week classes with homework, or -- interested in decorated/illuminated letters, or – interested in getting a sort of bird’s-eye overview of the world of calligraphy and illumination, or -- you wish there was a class you could send your friends/relatives to so they could better understand what you love about this art form... Here's a *FREE* introductory class that covers all of those bases! We cover a little history of calligraphy, with a demonstration of a variety of styles and tools, a peek at a variety of different calligraphy projects, and the opportunity for students to create their very own decorated letter in class! NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. The class is being offered twice in May 2023.
