This kit contains all you need to mix up your own Bister Inks. Our kit includes 1 of each of the available Bister Ink colors (7), a copy of Amity Parks' article "Bister Ink" from Bound & Lettered 16.1, two Jumbo Dinky Dips, and a Mini-Spoon Set.

** Please note only 7 colors are available of the Bister Inks. Red has been discontinued by the manufacturer. **

    Writing with these inks is wonderful - all of the colors are earthy. You control the ink mixing the powder with water. Great addition to calligraphy inks. Getting the kit makes it easy to mix and keep organized.

    I believe every calligrapher like using walnut ink crystals because we love the gradient effect, Bister ink set provide different colour like this, especially when I mix with those 8 colour on my letter script. 1oz powder can mix over 4oz ink that it is well worth it. From now on, I will use this instead!
