Using Mixed Colored Media on Coquille Board with Scott Rawlins

This workshop is a step into mixing graphite and watercolor for a rich and powerful composition. This is exactly why we will take time to question and explore composition until we find its best representation to suit the story we want to invest in our work. Then we discuss the proportion and the balance between the monochrome, the color, and the white space, understanding how the mix of techniques serves a graphic approach. I will demonstrate working in both techniques, also sharing examples of my work, and talking over the various choices of composition. This workshop is suitable for advanced and intermediates, looking to sharpen their skills as well as to better understand the mixing of techniques.
