New To Stick Ink
Works well for broad edge. Gives a nice dark matte finish. According to Boku-Undo catalog this is made from high quality pine soot and is "not suitable for dark ink". Don't worry the ink is plenty dark if you want it to be, equivalent to bottled sumi for me. The ink flows well and sticks to the nib well without adding gum arabic. Gives good sharp hairlines. The smell is growing on me the more I work with it. It is good enough to replace my trusty Kuretake sumi (in green bottle). Ground up ink stored in Dinky Dip seems fine for many days (8+).
