This four-week online introductory course in Copperplate calligraphy is designed especially for beginners. No prior calligraphy experience is required. The course includes:

- an overview of the essential tools & materials

- the principle Copperplate strokes

- lowercase letterforms

- ligatures, spacing and word construction

Students are encouraged to scan and submit their weekly practice pages to Joy for feedback and critique.

Each live Zoom session will be recorded and available for viewing until May 15, 2023.
