The magazine is put together in QuarkXpress 6.0 on a Mac. You can send your ad as a Mac Quark, PDF, jpg, eps, or tiff files (always for a Mac if you are given a choice). You can also send repro copy (high quality laser print or Xerox copy usually works fine unless you have screen tints). Files can be sent via email, but also mail a hard copy with payment. Inserting your flyer in our shipments to John Neal, Bookseller customers. 12 cents per insertion in boxes shipped to customers. $100 per 1,000. No minimum. We send out 300-500 boxes a month. Assumes single page, normal weight paper. Multi-page, heavy flyers may be more.
I can arrange for copying of your flyer on white paper, one side is $65 per 1,000. You send PDF or laser print original. 1,000 minimum.
Insertion in Foreign Issues of Bound & Lettered or Letter Arts Review. 30 cents per insertion. 100 minimum. You can pick countries. Does NOT include Canada. Cost is for a one page, normal weight flyer. Insertion NOT available for USA issues.
Put a notice of your event in our monthly E-Newsletter: Cost is $35 per notice. Includes cross posting to Calligraphy, Bookbinding and Book Arts List serves. You email notice. I edit as necessary and you approve the final text. Text is limited to three short paragraphs max. Goal is to get essentials to readers and drive them to your website for more detailed info. E-Newsletter Circulation: Approx. 3750. E-Newsletter goes out only once a month on an irregular schedule.
Pre-payment required with artwork by date indicated below. MasterCard, Visa and Discover are accepted.
